After a surprising Day 1 for the riders with some tough climbs, day 2 of the race was lead by Luis Leao Pinto, the overall winner. The race was flagged off from Gadakuffar with Luis in the lead as the King of the Himalayas. The race finishes at Khegsu with the riders camping by the Sutlej. The podium finishers – Luis Leao Pinto, Andi Seewald and Pau Zamora put up a stiff competition with a difference of only 04:29 minutes after riding through mostly mud tracks and loose gravel.
Always unpredictable, the Himalayas will test the riders yet again from Khegsu to Kullu Saharan.
