Console game Grand Theft Auto 5 could be released for PC in the upcoming two months.

GTA V is one of PC’s most anticipated games, and it is being speculated that Rockstar North could release the game this summer, according to Breathcast.

Quite a lot of european websites have already listed the game on their sites, and some are even offering the option to pre-order.

When asked whether the game will be released on PC, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told MCV UK: “If that is where consumers are, absolutely [we'll release our game on that]. But we wouldn’t drive them there, we would just be there if they are there. That is why we have a companion app for our basketball title, NBA 2K Everywhere. It is wherever consumers want to be.”

GTA V PC was listed on GameStop Website.

GTA V PC was listed on GameStop Website.

“It is great that consumers anticipate our titles, like they anticipate the next James Bond film. Our goal is to create permanent franchises. A few years ago, we’d launch a title, it would be sold physically, then we would sell catalogue versions of it. Today we launch a title, and often – if not always – put out DLC. We’ve talked about recurrent consumer spending, where we have offerings where fans can engage and spend money on an ongoing basis,” he added.

Czech game retailer SuperGamer.cz have said that the PC version of the game will be out on June 13.

To add to that, retailer GameStop even listed the game on their website in their library last week. However, the listing has now been removed.

GTA 5 was released last October for the Xbox 360 and PS3, and had sold over a million copies in just two days from its release.
