'Loot Cave' removed from destiny, says Bungi

Developer Bungie claimed that the ‘Loot Cave’ reduces "the effectiveness of a humbling number of economy exploits." After removing it from the game Destiny as a hot fix note, they had recently revealed the new Patch and bug fixes.

They also added that "The Hive of the holy 'Treasure Cave' have realized the futility of their endless assault on Skywatch and have retired to lick their wounds and plan their next attack." Which in other terms mean that the Destiny Players will no longer get it easy.

The reason why Bungie is taking out the ‘loot cave; is because most of the destiny players would exploit the cave endlessly and achieve gears and engram drops which gave them an endless higher-loot, and this was not how the developers saw it coming, it altered the gameplay. "The social experience of a cave farming run is amazing: the herding to get a team of Guardians all behind the line and firing in the right direction, the rush to grab the loot, the scramble when the panic wave starts, the beckoning glow from inside the cave” "But shooting at a black hole for hours on end isn't our dream for how Destiny is played. Our hope is that social engagement in public spaces is only one part of the Destiny experience." said Bungie in the developers note.

With the new hot fix players who had a general idea that the loot cave would eventually dry up after a point will be disappointed as Bungie has now made one more alteration to the game, that being "Material rewards for dismantling ‘queens wrath’ gear will no longer provide ascendant materials, but missions will continue to drop Legendary items."
