Sherlock Holmes: Crime and Punishment to be released in India on October

The new game, Sherlock Holmes: Crime and Punishment is soon to be released in India this October.

The game will be released for PlayStation4, PlayStation3, XboxOne, Xbox 360 and PC, internationally whereas it is noted that the game will only be available for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 In India.The last-gen version will cost Rs. 2,799, while the PS4 version will cost Rs. 3,499. The release date has however not been announced, but Indian game distributor, Origin Marketing after becoming partners with game publisher Focus Home Interactive, promises to debut the game sometime in early October.

This new series introduces certain moral changes that Sherlock Holmes goes through and developers have assured their gamers that it will have a totally different gameplay than the previous games in the series. Sherlock Holmes: Crime and Punishment will not only let the players take control of the main characters, suspects, and committers but also its victims. The players can either hand the culprit over to the police or empathize with his or her situation, setting them free after a dressing down in true Holmes style. The player’s moral choice will follow, and suspect’s fate will be left in their hands, with all the responsibility on the player’s conscience.

Focus Home Interactive today introduce the complexity of not the cases, but the characters of Crimes & Punishments. It is a trailer about empathy, blame, and punishment - not of the suspect, but of Sherlock himself, as he lives with the decisions made throughout the game.
