Some pointed out that the ‘physique’ of Hulkenberg isn’t doing him any favours, Some stated that it was down to Money. But nevertheless Hulkenberg’s future looks bleak, as the talented German has ruled out McLaren and Force India as an options for the 2014 season.

Although McLaren have possibly one seat vacant for 2014 season, as the British Squad is keen to negotiate further with other drivers then Perez, it’s still believed that Perez will retain his drive for the next season. It was also believed that Hulkenberg was one of the options that McLaren were pursuing for next season. Unfortunately though, Hulkenberg has rejected these rumors..

Similarly, it was believed that Force India was also a last resort for Hulkenberg. The German made a side switch to Sauber ahead of the 2013 season, and was constantly asked if he ever regretted his move to the Swiss team. Fortunately for the Swiss Squad and the mighty German, Sauber’s fortunes improved by a mile in the second half of the season. However, With the Swiss Squad looking at multiple contenders for one of their seat for 2014 season, with the other seat being awarded to Sergey Sirotkin, Hulkenberg is seeking better prospects. We asked him, if he was looking at Force India as an option for 2014, and if he could come back to the Anglo Indian Squad. Hulkenberg made a negative comment, and thus relegating himself to Lotus or Sauber for the 2014 season..

Hulkenberg on rejoining Force India, “It’s difficult, I mean you have to see the bigger picture next year. Obviously there is a big regulation change, (and) there are a few opportunities, but there is no decision yet”

It would be a real shame for Formula 1 to lose a talent of Hulkenberg due to financial reasons, or if his Weight was shown as negative feedback. Hulkenberg has moved to three teams in three seasons for his Formula 1 career, and has been a highlight in the second half of the 2013 season by pushing the Sauber above its performance.
