Michael Schumacher’s wife Corrina believes that the most difficult time in the former World Champion’s struggle is over. She had a brief message thanking everyone during the official 2014 German Grand Prix Programme.
A few days ago she did mention about her husband making a slow but good progress and now this further update about his condition will make fans all over the globe even happier. He is now in a Swiss rehabilitation clinic along with his family.
"It's good to know that we have all come through the most difficult time together. Now a period that is expected to take a long time has begun. We trust that in this struggle you will be Michael's allies once again, as you were for so many years in Formula One," she said.
The 7-time F1 World Champion crashed on December 29, 2013 in the French Alps in Meribel while skiing. The head injuries he sustained lead to a coma and the recovery process took longer than expected. He finally recovered from the coma after six months.
