Schumacher Out ... Karun Chandhok In ?

26 year old Indian speedster, Karun Chandhok has reportedly signed a deal with Stefan GP F1 team for 2010 season.

German media is furious that the Serbian F1 team has kicked out Schumacher & signed Chandhok instead.

This news also shatters the dreams of the entire Schumacher family who were trying to make a family comeback in Formula 1. Unconfirmed reports suggest that only Michael proved to be the lucky one whereas his wife, kids & housemaid failed to get a F1 driving seat this year. Ralf Schumacher was the latest failure, in order of merit!

This obviously means that both the GP2 teammates- Bruno & Karun ,will now have F1 seats for 2010.Bruno Senna has already signed up as Campos Meta’s first driver. Formula 1 is the obvious next step for Karun, after spending the last three seasons in GP2.

Stefan GP which is salivating for the 14th spot in the grid this season, doesn’t have an official entry into F1 this season. Its only chance is when one of the existing 13 teams pulls out of the 2010 season.

Daddy Vicky Chandhok, who was said to be in contention for the post of FIA’s president around six months back, is still maintaining – “No Comments”. Karun on the other hand has denied his deal signing news. “For now it is all speculation, but I wish it comes true,” he said.

So, whether Karun races for Stephan GP or not …. Indians are all set to buy ‘really last long’ car batteries from their new salesman.
