SingTel extends title sponsorship deal with Singapore GP

SingTel or Singapore Telecommunications Limited has extended its partnership with the Singapore Grand Prix with options to renew the title sponsorship until 2017. The race itself is under contract with the FIA until the year 2017.

A statement from the organizers said “Since the inaugural night race in 2008, SingTel have helped shape the Singapore Grand Prix into one of the must-attend events on the motorsports calendar. Much of the success of the first five years could not have been possible without their invaluable support.”

The Singapore Grand Prix is one of the most popular races on the calender, as it is the only race that is run completely after sun set! The inaugural race took place in 2008 on the Marina Bay Street circuit and has been a hit with fans, teams, and drivers alike.

This night race is known for its spectacular shows and fireworks, apart from the great racing it gives us each year.

The 2013 Singapore Grand Prix will run between September 20th and 22nd.
