Lewis Hamilton controlled the Bahrain Grand Prix from start to finish to take his third victory of the season, despite a late problem with his car's brake-by-wire system. Kimi Raikkonen was entertaining on the team radio as ever and looked even better on the race track, securing his first podium finish since 2013 Korean Grand Prix. The foundation of his result were laid in the middle stint on the medium tyre.Nico Rosberg, meanwhile, showed feisty skills in overtaking the Ferraris but had to settle for third place with a brake issue similar to his teammate. It would be interesting to see how he fares in the European leg of the season.
