Lewis Hamilton won his second British Grand Prix after Nico Rosberg retired from the race due to a gearbox problem. The win brings down the points difference between Hamilton and Rosberg to just four. The German leads the drivers’ championship with 165 points to Hamilton’s 161. F1 heads to Germany in a fortnight's time. Valtteri Bottas put on another stellar performance to record his second straight podium finish, while Daniel Ricciardo held off a fast charging Jenson Button in the closing stages to take the final spot on the podium. Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso provided us with the battle of the race with some good on track fights and amusing radio calls.
