Currently driving with Williams, Felipe Massa is one of Formula One’s most familiar faces. Most drivers, Massa included, start karting at a very young age – 3, 4, sometimes 5 years old – just ask Jenson Button, who had already begun winning races at that stage!
His talented father drove for one of F1’s most historically iconic teams – Scuderia Ferrari – and saw his most successful stint so far at the Prancing Horse. Massa was in the top 3 in the World Drivers’ Championships for 2 of the 6 years he was with the team, finishing up the order nearly every year.
It looks like Massa Junior is picking up his famous father’s skills. The youngster, named Felipinho (or little Felipe) will be 6 this year, and his proud father often shares photographs of his son to social media. Earlier in the year, he showed fans a glimpse of hsi son
Today, the Brazilian celebrated his country’s Children’s Day, and shared this video of his son learning the ropes.
His team already calls him ‘Felipe, Baby’.. so this may be a chance for Felipe’s baby to take over!
