10 Wonderkids to sign in FIFA 17

Dele Alli tops out list of Top 10 Wonderkids

EA Sports’ latest instalment of the much-loved football game - FIFA 17, released a few months back and it’s been huge. This new game was a lot different from the older versions of FIFA, with new features like the Frostbite Engine incorporated in the game to give a realistic RPG feel to the game.

The biggest addition, however, was a new version of the previously named ‘Be a Pro’ mode. This new version is called ‘The Journey’ where players start their career as an aspiring footballer, Alex Hunter.

The career mode is still a big hit among FIFA fans, and here’s a list of 10 wonderkids you might consider signing at your club:

#1 Dele Alli - 20 years

The young Englishman had a breakthrough season at White Hart Lane and was instrumental in the Spurs’ title challenge. At just 20, he has an impressive rating of 80 in a CAM rule.

Alli has a potential of 90 in the game, and for £41 million in your kitty, he’ll be an excellent buy and should be one of the world’s best in your career mode in 3-4 years.

The 20-year old had a sensational season, scoring 11 goals and 12 assists. With attributes of 81 ball control, 83 short passes and 78 dribbling, he promises to be an amazing buy.

#2 Ousmane Dembele - 19 years

The #7 has already proved to be a brilliant signing

Borussia Dortmund’s new signing has already been one of the best signings of the season, already adding 4 goals and 10 assists in just 16 games for BVB.

The French international has got a healthy rating of 77 in the RM role, and a whopping potential of 90. Managers can’t sign him right away as he recently arrived for the Ligue 1 club, Rennes.

Instead, you can get him in the January transfer window for just £20 million. That’s probably the lowest that one would get him for and managers should not pass up that opportunity. With ratings of 85 sprint, 85 dribbling and 83 acceleration, he’s a guaranteed starter for most teams.

#3 Renato Sanches - 19 years

Sanches played a crucial part in Portugal’s Euro 2016 glory

Much like Dembele, the Portuguese can’t be signed right away as he recently arrived at Bayern Munich.

Sanches had a brilliant outing at Euro 2016 and caught everyone’s eye as Portugal went on to lift the Euros. Sanches received an overall rating of 78, with a potential of 90. Come January, he’ll be available for £20 million.

With impressive stats of 93 Stamina, 90 Aggression, 88 Balance and 84 Sprint Speed, the Portuguese will be a good buy.

#4 Anthony Martial - 20 years

The young Frenchman has had a sensational start to life in England

Martial raised a lot of eyebrows last season after Manchester United bid huge to secure the services of the youngster from AS Monaco. Not many United fans were convinced about spending that much money on a 19-year-old and many called it a ‘panic buy’.

Every question was put to rest when Martial came on from the bench against Liverpool, and within minutes, dribbled past Liverpool defenders and scored a wonder goal on his debut. He really announced his arrival with that, and there was no stopping the Frenchman since, as he ended up as United’s highest goal scorer with 11 goals in the PL.

Martial has a brilliant rating of 82, and has a potential of 90. 91 Acceleration, 92 Sprint Speed and 89 Dribbling should surely convince one to sign the young Frenchman. However, he’s gonna cost £37 million.

#5 Marco Asensio - 20 years

The Real Madrid midfielder features in the list

The Real Madrid midfielder is #5 on this list. With hardly any new signings for the Spanish giants in the summer transfer window, Asensio will get loads of opportunities to showcase his class.

The Spaniard has an overall rating of 81 in the game and a potential of 89. Asensio will cost you a lot less than some other names on this list and can prove to be an excellent buy, if used properly.

#6 Kurt Zouma - 21 years

Zouma is already an impressive first-choice defender

The young Chelsea centre-back can be a brilliant buy, but his transfer fee might be a bit more than what one would want to pay for a centre-back at around £17 million. The Stamford Bridge outfit also plays hardball over the signing of the French.

However, if one does sign him, managers get a very young player with an impressive overall of 80, and his best attributes include 85 Strength, 84 Jumping and 83 for Standing Tackle.

He featured in 31 games for Chelsea last season and was one of the better performers in the Chelsea team that finished 10th last season.

#7 Alen Halilovic - 20 years

The former Barca man could be a brilliant budget signing

The Croatian wonderkid was recently signed by Bundesliga outfit, SV Hamburg from Spanish Club, Sporting. Due to this, managers can’t sign him immediately and have to wait for the next transfer window in Fifa 17.

Halilovic has an overall rating of 79, with a potential of 89, and will be a good midfield reinforcement for a team in his central midfield role.

The 20-year old impressed in his spell at Sporting, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists in 24 matches for his side. Halilovic will be a great budget buy.

#8 Youri Tielemans - 19 years

Tielmans can be a good buy as a central midfielder

The Anderlecht CM finds a spot at #7 in the list. Tielemans has a decent overall rating of 77 and a high potential of 89. The youngster will be a good buy if managers are running short of CM’s, and regular match time should see his rating increase.

Tielemans has 3 goals and 3 assists to his name last season in the Belgian club last season.

#9 Gianluigi Donnarumma - 17 years

The AC Milan shot-stopper has been compared to the Italian legend, Buffon

He has been labelled as the ‘Next Buffon’ and even though it’s too early for the comparison, the starting signs are surely brilliant. He’s already made his way to the Italian team and seems to be learning a lot from Italy’s captain and goalkeeping legend.

The Italian burst onto the scene following an injury to Diego Lopez, and he’s never looked back since. He’s undoubtedly only second to Buffon among Italian goalkeepers right now.

Donnarumma starts the game with an overall rating of 76 which can be boosted to 88 in the long run. The shot-stopper has good stats of 84 reflexes and 78 Diving. He’s available for just £10 million and should be a brilliant No.2 buy, if not the first choice goalkeeper.

#10 Marcus Rashford - 18 years

Rashford ends our list at #10

The Manchester United sensation burst onto the scene last season, after an injury to Anthony Martial before a Europa League game vs FC Midtjyland. United desperately needed a win, and the youngster delivered with goals in his debut match.

He continued the form as he went on to score against Arsenal in his PL debut, against City in his derby debut and on his senior England debut. All this in less than 6 months.

Rashford’s sensational 2016 was rewarded with a 76 rating, and a high potential of 88. Manchester United will play hardball over letting him go and he might be worth a lot.
