It also equalled the record in English Professional Football that was first set in the first round match of the 2011 Football League Trophy played between Dagenham & Redbridge and Leyton Orient and then the feat was matched once again in September earlier this year when Liverpool defeated Middlesbrough 14-13 in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup.
