Adidas announces shortlist of Real Madrid 3rd kits for next season

Adidas has revealed the short-list for Real Madrid’s 2017/18 season 3^rd kits via the Creator Studio Competition. Earlier in August this year, the sportswear company had announced that they would give fans the chance to design the 3^rd kits of some of Adidas-sponsored European clubs including the likes of Real Madrid, AC Milan, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Juventus. In a bold move by the sporting apparel giant, they gave designers around the world to do work their magic,

“We are giving people a blank canvas and allowing them to create something exciting and unique,” Adidas’ general manager of football Markus Baumann said.

“The Creator Studio is an opportunity for fans to become part of the history of some of the biggest global clubs; it’s a true first. We hope the idea of seeing their design on field next year, being worn by the players and by fans around the world, will fuel imagination and creativity.” he added.

Today they revealed the 20 designs selected for Real Madrid’s 3rd kits in a short-list, and there are some truly fascinating pieces in there. Here’s the shortlist in all its glory –
