Adidas unveils lace less football boots

Adidas started the football revolution in 2015 with the launch of Adidas X and Adidas Ace football boots. Adidas designed these football boots for both the explosive players and players who love to control the beautiful game. Well, the football revolution does not end there, Adidas unveiled brand new football boots in the first week on November 2015. This is the next step in the football revolution.

Adidas unveiled Adidas Ace 16+ GTI football shoes, what makes these football boots different? These are lace less football boots. Yes, you read that right; these football boots have no laces.

Oscar, Mesut Ozil, Ivan Rakitic and James Rodriguez presented Adidas Ace 16+ GTI to the world. These football boots are set to hit the football world in early 2016. Brand new Adidas Ace 16+ GTI 2016 football boots completely refresh Adidas’s football boot lineup with its stunning lace less and knitted design. Adidas Ace 16+ GTI football boots feature knitted Primeknit upper, based primarily on Adidas Primeknit 2.0 football boots. Adidas introduced a thin synthetic layer on top of the knitted Primeknit upper. This offers increased durability and stability. When compared with other Primeknit football boots, this cleat will have the largest area of the revolutionary Primeknit material.

Adidas introduced two straps at the front and back of the collar area. It should be much easier to put on the new lace less football cleats. Primeknit material is elastic but it retains its shape even after extensive use.

Adidas has added a structure that connects the iconic three stripes on the lateral side of the shoe. This offers added stability. Adidas Ace 16+ GTI football boots boast a sole plate that does not feature the second layer of studs like the regular Adidas Ace 15.1. Rather, we shall see a more traditional stud configuration featuring eleven studs.

Not only that, we see a brand new external heel counter with this football boot. The shape and the height of the heel counter have been changes to match with the brand new sole place. Adidas said that these football boots are not for everyone. We could not agree more with Adidas.

Regarding the first company that launched the lace less football boots – it is Lotto (caught you by surprise?). The Italian manufacturer launched lace less football boots – the Zhero Gravity II 100 long before Adidas.

Adidas is set to launch Adidas Ace 16+ GTI football boots in January 2016. We shall only see the FG/AG version of this amazing football boot. We expect further models to follow in February 2016.

Adidas Ace 16+ GTI retails at $300 i.e., around 20,000INR. Availability in India is TBA.
