Romanian striker Adrian Mutu has confirmed that his visa has been approved by the Indian embassy in Bucharest.

The former Chelsea star was rumoured to be “visibly drunk” and reports of his visa were reportedly rejected by the embassy officials. But Mutu who has a three-month contract with the Indian Super League club Pune City F.C. posted on Twitter with a picture of his Indian visa which has been well approved.

According to reports from Italian newspaper Gazzetta, Mutu had threatened the Romanian staff after some lengthy formalities and ultimately his visa wasn’t approved.

The ex-Bianconeri forward was asked leave and come back sober to get his Indian visa. But all those speculations have been put to rest by the 35-year-old.

Delhi Dynamos will take on Pune City F.C. at home as both the sides will look to get a positive start to their ISL campaign. Mutu will be getting reacquainted with his former Juventus team-mates Alessandro Del Piero of the Delhi Dynamos and David Trezeguet who will be his partner up front in FC Pune City.
