AIFF organises its second AFC 'A' licence coaching course of the year

The All India Football Federation is organising its second AFC A-Certificate Course of the year, which kicked-off today, October 18 in the capital of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.

The Course is being conducted by AIFF Technical Director Robert Baan to begin with and will be succeeded by the Asian Football Confederation’s Vincent Subramanium.

The Course is being hosted by the Kerala Football Association and will last for 29 days till November 16, 2013.

A total of 24 participants have been selected for the Course. The AFC ‘A’ Coaching Certificate Course is for Coaches who hold both the ‘C’ and ‘B’ Coaching Certificates.

Selection of participants is based only on the recommendation of the Instructors. The duration of the Course is 27 days, with a minimum of 148 hours.

The Course is designed to educate Coaches in tactical and advanced Technical requirements of teams and team management. Students are examined on the practical and theoretical aspects of the game, and are required to submit and present a dissertation.

Shaji, Bino George, Jo Paul Anchery (Kerala); Gautam Ghosh, Satyabrata Bhowmick, Bastab Roy, Achinta Kumar Belel, Anita Sarkar (West Bengal); Kamalkanta Singh (Assam); John Kenneth Raj, C. Ravi Kumar (Karnataka); Arindam Biswas (Pondicherry); N. William Koso, Roko Angami (Nagaland); Bitan Singh, Surmala Chanu (Manipur); Bobby Nongbet (Meghalaya); Mita Michiteru (Japan).
