Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria scored a brilliant ‘rabona’ penalty with David De Gea in goal during a promotional video. The video was made by Chevrolet in which some of the Manchester United stars were challenged to score penalties with their weaker foot.
Di Maria initially converted the penalty with his right foot before demonstrating amazing skills with his left by scoring a ‘rabona’. The ball went into the bottom left corner of the goal past United’s player of the year.
Apart from the Argentine, defender Chris Smalling also converted his penalty using his weaker right foot. The ones who missed were Marouane Fellaini and Adnan Januzaj. United manager Louis van Gaal may have found an alternative for taking the club’s penalty kicks if he has seen the video.
