Rome, Oct 11 (IANS) Argentina's football legend Diego Maradona said that his national team has a giant attacking potential, but performs better in the presence of his compatriot and Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
During a press conference on Monday, Maradona explained that Argentina have some great strikers, such as Gonzalo Higuain and Sergio Aguero, but they are only at their best when led by Messi, reports Efe.
Maradona is in Rome for the "Match for Peace" which is to be held on Wednesday at the initiative of Pope Francis of the Vatican.
