Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus has expressed his delight at being a part of the Dortmund squad, confirming that he is committed to staying.

The 24-year-old is tied down to a long-term contract at the club and has put to bed any speculation linking him with a move away from the club.

Dortmund reached the final of the Champions League last season, but lost to Bayern Munich, and Reus was a key component of the team that beat Malaga and Real Madrid on their way to Wembley.

Reus’ performances over the past couple of years have not gone unnoticed with the likes of Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Manchester United thought to be interested in the exciting attacker.

But the former Borussia Monchengladbach has spoken out about any rumours linking him with a move away from Signal Iduna Park.

Reus told Kicker-Sportmagazin: “I live in the here and now and therefore I am delighted to be a player of Borussia Dortmund.

“I am under contract with the club until June 2017. Everything else is irrelevant, from my point of view.”
