Club football returned after the international break and boy did it return with a bang! There were goals, missed penalties, unexpected scorers, expected scorers and some changes in the league standings.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi both scored and helped Real Madrid and Barcelona secure comfortable victories while 10 man Arsenal managed to secure a hard-fought 3-2 win over Swansea city.
