Alexis Sanchez: To play or not to play?

Arsenal will assess their star player, Alexis Sanchez, over his hamstring trouble. While representing his nation, Chile, in a 3-1 win against Uruguay in their World Cup qualifier game, the former Udinese talent played through a hamstring trouble to lift his team to a sound victory.

But it seems as though Chile’s gain could be Arsenal’s loss as the forward could miss out against Manchester United. The former Barcelona man will be checked by Arsenal’s medical team as it remains uncertain whether the forward, who has scored 8 times this season, could feature against the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Santi Cazorla is set to miss the clash against Mourinho’s men as he still needs some more weeks to completely recuperate from the Achilles injury that he picked up during the Gunners’ 6-0 thrashing of Ludogorets.

The former Malaga magician hopes that he will be back soon and states that he is giving it his all to make a swift comeback.

“I still don't know the exact time. I am trying to return as soon as possible to be with the team again, but I cannot say if it will be soon or if I still have a few weeks left,” he was quoting saying by the Daily Mail.

“It is what I do not know, but hopefully, it will be as soon as possible.”

Arsene Wenger’s other star player, Mesut Ozil, however, is fine and will definitely feature against Zlatan Ibrahimovic and co. should there be no accidents. And the German has called for his team to churn out results against the big fishes of the league.

The former Real Madrid man believes that Arsenal have what it takes to beat the likes of Manchester United and end up winning the Premier League if they go on to keep winning.

“[We need to] win every game, get as many points as possible and also be successful against the big teams like we were against Chelsea,” Ozil said on Arsenal Player. “We have the quality to beat any team and that's what we want to show this season. You can see that the big clubs at the top have quality and that we have to win every game because of how tight it is at the top. Our goal has to be to look at ourselves. If we win the games, we'll be at the top at the end.”
