Ozil could reunite with Jose Mourinho

Ozil tells friends that he will be a Manchester United player

The Arsenal playmaker is set to leave the Emirates with his contract expiring in the summer. Now, the Daily Mail reports that Ozil has told his friends that he will link up with Jose Mourinho once again in the coming year at Manchester United.

The pair have worked together at Real Madrid and this news could serve as a huge blow to Arsene Wenger's side. Robin van Persie did the same a few years back and won the Premier League right away.

While Arsenal might have resigned themselves to losing the German, they would definitely not want Ozil to join a domestic rival.

Arsenal want £35 million for Hector Bellerin with Madrid interested

Bellerin is wanted by Real Madrid

In a news that would come as a real surprise to Arsenal fans, Real Madrid are interested in signing Bellerin, as per Don Balon. Further, the report states that the London club is demanding £35 million for the right-back, which is less in the current transfer market.

Bellerin is considered to be one of the best right-backs in the league and would land a severe blow for Wenger with the impending departures of Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Further, the price quoted could prove to be a loss for Arsenal with Madrid reportedly contacting the London side already.

Benzema's agent pours cold water over Arsenal's hopes

Deportivo La Coruna v Real Madrid - La Liga
Karim Benzema is happy at Real Madrid

The Gunners have shown interest in signing the Real Madrid attacker for quite some time now and recent reports suggested that Arsenal made a bid for the player. However, his agent Karim Djaziri told Sky Sports News:

"Karim Benzema is very happy at Real Madrid. He signed a contract extension last month and has absolutely no intention of leaving the club."

That should end any transfer speculation for now regarding the Frenchman. Though Arsenal managed to sign Alexandre Lacazette in the summer, they were keen on adding more firepower. But it seems Benzema won't be that player.
