Latest reports suggest that Arsenal are prepared to hand manager Arsene Wenger a £100 million summer transfer kitty to bring in fresh faces with great talent and experience to win silverware next season.

Also, the French manager is expected to wait until the end of the season to ratify and take a decision on putting pen to paper to a new 3 year extension at the Emirates which will see him enter his third decade at the club.

The dignified Wenger has often suggested that he would not stay if he feels he is unable to perform to the best of abilities by failing to get the best out of his players, and therefore not delivering results.

But the 64-year is said to have had productive talks with chief executive, Ivan Gazidis, who is silently confident Wenger will extend his stay in North London.

The massive budget comes as a realisation of various sources such as the sponsorship deals and increased property valuations.

The club did well to renew the sponsorship funding for the Emirates Stadium which will see it’s revenue streams receive a year-on-year boost of around £70 million.

Arsenal will have also continued to benefit from property development around the old Highbury Stadium, with sites expected to realise around £10 million. Add to that the £20 million which was accrued by the sale of the Queensland Road site last year.

Also, a further three per cent rise in ticket prices for 2014-15 has been announced.

This will put Arsenal in the £300 million revenue a year bracket and will become one of the few European clubs to boast such financial figures.

Wenger reaches a staggering milestone of 1,000 games as Arsenal manager this Saturday. Tomas Rosicky, who recently signed a one year extension at the club, heaped praises on the gaffer.

“It is absolutely unique,” he said. “I don’t think that anyone will repeat something like that again. He is a legend for this club.”
