Assam football: Oil India enters final, Navajyoti denied Super Division title

In the All India Invitational Prize Money Football tournament at Golaghat, Oil India FC sailed past Mohun Bagan Academy 4-2 to enter the final.

Manas Manjit Chetia scored a brace and F Wary and Birjab Musahary were the other scorers. For Mohun Bagan, Gorachand Marandi and Sagar Gurung found the back of the net.

Now, Oil India FC will face Shillong Lajong in the final clash.

GSA Super Division:

Meanwhile in GSA Super Division, a controversial refereeing decision in the dying minute of the match denied Navajyoti the title. In the match against NF Railway, they were leading 1-0 at the time of the incident.

Poor referring was the main cause for this drama. Now, GSA will decide the fate of this match and also the winner of the tournament.
