Madrid, Sep 8 (IANS) Spanish football giants Real Madrid's striker Gareth Bale insists his side's ambition for the season is to win every possible title theyr are competing in.

Madrid have already won the European Supercup and are looking to defend the Champions League title they won at the end of last season, as well as looking to improve their poor recent record in La Liga, where they have won just once in the past eight years, reports Xinhua.

"When you are at Real Madrid, you always have big dreams," said Bale at an event here on Wednesday.

"We are going to try and do the best we can and if we can win everything that would be wonderful. Everything is possible," he commented.

The striker did, however, highlight the importance of ending FC Barcelona's La Liga dominance.

"It is important to win it because it has been a long a long time since we won it. I am looking forward to getting back into action against Osasuna on Saturday, it will be a tough game, but we have everyone fit and that is important," said Bale.

The striker also discussed his role with the Welsh national side, which reached the semi-finals of the 2016 European Championships.

"That was an incredible moment in my career and something I will never forget. We made history and now we want to continue and qualify for the World Cup."

"Wales got to the quarter-finals in 1958 and it would be great to be able to repeat that. We all want to make sure the European Championships were not a one-off," he said.
