New Bangalore professional side South United FC will be holding open trials for their Under-14 and Under-17 teams on December 22/23, 2012 in and across Bangalore with the venues to be announced. Players in the Under-14 age group born on or after January 1, 1999 and boys in the Under-17 age group born on or after January 1, 1996, who aspire to gain specialized football training, willing to dedicate a minimum of 6-8 hours per week of intensive organized coaching and competition, and want to make football their career.
The cost of participation in the two day trials is Rs 100 with players shortlisted on day one to go into the final selections on day two. The fee for the trials must be paid along with a completely filled in application.
Day one trials will be held across multiple centres in Bangalore. Players can enroll for the trials and they will be assigned the appropriate location for trials, while day two trials will be held at a to be named single location.
Participants from across the city, state and India are welcome; but the boys must organize their own transport and means of accomodation for both days, while players also need to ensure appropriate training wear including shin pads and enough fluids to last during the training days.
