Barcelona seemed to have stirred more storms in their Luis Suarez teacup as according to the latest reports, they have been told by FIFA strictly that they won’t be able to unveil Luis Suarez’s signing in public as he is banned from ‘all football-related activity’ for a period four months.

Though Suarez was signed by Barca for a hefty sum of £75 million, making him one of the most expensive players in La Liga, they have many problems to sort out now, apart from the fact that their new star will miss many matches of the season owing to his ban.

FIFA's head of media Delia Fischer told Press Association Sport: "The ban relates to all football-related activity. He cannot be in a football-related public event irrespective of the venue."He cannot even be involved in a football-related charity event.”

Just few days ago, after the infamous bite incident, Suarez was apparently told by Barcelona to apologize publicly and appeal against the severity of the ban which he eventually did, but that failed to appease the officials at FIFA and the duration of the ban was maintained, not giving Suarez any kind of relief.

Though he can still appeal in the Court of Arbitration for Sports as a last ditch effort. Amidst all this, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu remains confident that Suarez's ban, which also includes nine international matches, will be reduced.

That Suarez is not even allowed to take part in a charity event concerning football, goes on to show that how severe this ban is and how serious FIFA are about not tolerating any more of non-professional attitude from world-class footballers like Suarez.
