Barcelona forward Lionel Messi have been struggling with his vomiting for quite a long time now, but most recently he was seen puking in the tunnel, minutes before he came out to the pitch ahead of Barcelona’s match against Athletic Club Bilbao.
This was not the first time the Argentine has faced a situation like this as the same happened during their match against Real Sociedad which the Catalans won comfortably with a score of 3-1.
“It happens to me all the time. It has happened various times with the club too. It is not anything that has not happened before,” Lionel Messi told TyC Sports back in 2011 when he was sick again while playing for Argentina in a friendly match with Romania.
Barcelona manager Gerardo Martino insists that the Barcelona starlet’s situation is not alarming, although they are yet to find a solution.
“It is not a normal situation, but there is no alarm. He has been to see specialists but as yet they haven’t found a solution. The important thing is that it doesn’t affect him from doing his job. It is something that he has had for a while now.”
