The Turkish league often provides the world with tidbits of incredible scenes, ranging from the Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder leading the Galatasaray fans in celebration to flares pretty much everywhere – in the stands on the pitch, outside the stadium and so on. It has its moments on the pitch as well. Every now and then the quality of some players shines through to make for some great viewing for the rest of the world.

The youth league in Turkey is as important to the league there as it is around the world as they too hone talent for the future. We’ve seen plenty of talent come out of the reserves from the likes of La Masia in Spain or Ajax in Netherlands and even Manchester United in England. This 12-year-old from Turkey showed a sampler of his tremendous potential with this solo goal that sees him beat 3 defenders and guide a shot from some distance into the goal so that the keeper has no chance to save it.

The wonder kid scored the goal in the recent fixture between Besiktas U12 and Sporting Lisboa U12. He showed great skill and in getting past the defenders before getting the shot off. The tricks seemed to be a piece of cake for the kid. His ease on the ball suggests he is completely in control of what he is doing with his feet. The confidence of the kid to take on defender after defender suggests a Ronaldo-esque trait, that he hopefully take after.

12 years is an immensely young age to be able to display such level of control and composure and finish it off with some accurate long-distance shooting. There isn’t much known about the child albeit if he continues in this vein, it will be hard to ignore for too long.
