Capital One Cup: Highlights and Quarter-Final draw

After claiming a stunning 2-0 victory at the Etihad over defending champions Manchester City, Newcastle will now travel to London to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the quarter-finals of the Capital One Cup.

The result will help ease the pressure on manager Alan Pardew after he lifted the club out of the relegation zone with a win over Tottenham in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will play Championship side Derby County after they beat League Two side Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday night.

Liverpool will also face a Championship side after Bournemouth beat West Bromwich Albion. The Merseyside club also made it to the quarter-finals after a last gasp winner against Swansea at Anfield.

The final match sees Southampton travel to Sheffield United after they beat Stoke City 3-2.

Highlights: Stoke City 2-3 Southampton

Meanwhile, Graziano Pellè scored the first and third goal as Southampton beat Stoke City in the fourth round. The winner was scored in the 89th minute of the game to give the Saints a spot in the quarter-finals.

It was a game that also saw Peter Crouch sent off for a second yellow card. The resultant free kick led to the winner as Pelle smashed it home into the top corner.
