Carlo Ancelotti 100% sure Ronaldo will not leave Real Madrid for Manchester United

Carlo Ancelotti told the British press ahead of his team Real Madrid’s encounter with Liverpool that he is 100% sure that superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is not going to leave Real Madrid for Manchester United next year. The Portuguese captain has been linked with a move to former club United, and Ancelotti has said that he doesn’t see a reason for Ronaldo to quit the Spanish capital.

He also mentioned that Ronaldo is very happy at Madrid and will end his career at the reigning Champions League champions, and that he does not see him leaving anytime soon.

“Everyone can be changed and replaced but Ronaldo is the best player in the world. If he left Madrid it would be a huge loss,”he said.

“But that won’t happen because he will end his career in Madrid. I am 100% sure Ronaldo won’t be at Manchester United next season. 100%. I can’t be wrong because he is happy in Madrid. Everyone wants to be here.

The club is delighted to have the best player in the world. At the moment the relationship between club and player is perfect. So I don’t think that is going to change. Ronaldo will end his career at Real Madrid.”

The Italian is also amazed at Ronaldo’s goalscoring record but also added that even Ronaldo scores, Real can lose. He said, “He could score but we might lose 2-1 or 3-2. But the statistics say it all. The fact is he has scored around 280 goals in 250 games for Madrid. That’s why I say having him in your team is like having the advantage. There is a big game to be faced with the whole team but clearly, having Ronaldo is a big plus.

It wasn’t easy to say who the best player I have coached is because I’ve been fortunate to work with the best, including defenders and goalkeepers. I’ve worked with many great players but yes, Ronaldo still surprises me that he is capable of scoring in every game. Always.”
