Chelsea could make a surprise swoop in for Mario Balotelli in January, after his agent admitted that Mario could leave AC Milan.
It should be recalled that Balotelli made the move to AC Milan from Manchester City last January. He has been in excellent form in the Serie A for Milan, scoring 15 goals from 17 matches.
But Mario being Mario, his off-field antics have not stopped and his agent, Mino Raiola, says he’s getting too much in Italy.
He said, “There is an exaggerated amount of attention on him.
We all need to calm down and analyse how things are going with Milan.
‘Italy will not be the final stage of his career, for sure.”
The favourites seem to be Chelsea, who have been looking for some high profile strikers to sign in the summer, but eventually missing out on targets like Radamel Falcao and Wayne Rooney. They would have no problem in meeting the wage demands of the star striker either.
