Chelsea starlet insists he is not at the club to 'show off'

Eden Hazard‘s name is on the lips of the Chelsea faithful with the young Belgian affirming his status as a Stamford Bridge favorite in only four games. He has so far notched four assists and two penalties from his first three games in the English Premier League.

He has received criticism from many people with the way he handled his transfer to Chelsea from French club Lille and insists that he is not here to “show off.” Hazard told the Club’s official magazine:

“I love to set up my team-mates. I am not here to be a star, to show off. I am here to play for the others, but if I have to try and clinch a game then I will. People will see me at Chelsea the way I am and judge me the way they want to.

“It’s a competition that gets everyone dreaming. Every detail counts at this level. It was good experience (last season with Lille). I hope to do better in it. It will be complicated, because now Chelsea are the team to beat. The goal is to win the Champions League every year, but we know it is difficult to win it twice in a row.”
