Confederations Cup: Crunching the numbers

Brazil won the 2013 Confederations Cup at home, lifting it for the 4th time, the highest by any team so far.

Hosts Brazil defeated World Champions and Euro winners Spain 3-0 in front of the capacity crowd at Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

Fred and Neymar scored for Brazil with the former winning the Golden Ball award. Spain’s Fernando Torres won the Golden Boot award for scoring 5 goals in the tournament.
