Costa, Mikel, Ramires and Schurrle out - Who starts tonight?

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho during a press conference earlier this week.

Jose Mourinho confirmed in his press conference ahead of Maribor tonight that four players are out injured. I am asking you the Chelsea fans who you think should start tonight!

It's easy to get ahead of ourselves and think of Manchester United on Sunday, but the boss was quick to remind everyone to focus on tonight first. He re-iterated that he will not be looking to rest players and to give Maribor and the competition the respect they deserve by playing his strongest team, but I am not so sure. When asked of tonight and United he said:

“I do not have Manchester United in mind, I have Maribor in mind. I don’t rest players. We have to think about this game, not the one in Slovenia. It is important to win, the group is not an easy one".

It will be interesting to see if Petr Cech is given a start tonight based on the fact that Didier Drogba was given the start against Schalke.

Talking of Drogba, Jose revealed that the big Ivorian is fit but not quite ready to play ninety minutes at the moment. Does that mean he will start as Loic Remy played last weekend against Palace?

Finally, what of Cesar Azpilicueta who faces a three-match suspension which will see him ruled out of the games against Manchester United, Shrewsbury and QPR. Will Mourinho decide to play Filipe Luis tonight to give him 90 minutes ahead of Old Trafford on Sunday?

Maribor are a good side and I agree, deserve the respect for being in this competition but in saying that, surely if we have aspirations of winning this competition and being on of the teams tipped to have the potential to do so, we should be beating teams such as this with ease.

I personally would make a couple of changes to freshen things up and give some people rest ahead of United. My team to start tonight would be:Cech, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Terry(C), Luis, Matic, Fabregas, Willian, Oscar, Salah and Remy.

Do you agree or beg to differ? What would your team be?
