Gareth Bale may not take part in the semi-final but Ronaldo could

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo gave Madridistas hope after he completed a full training session today in a race to get fit for the Champione League semi-final clash with Bayern Munich.

The Spanish side play the first leg at home as they welcome the current champions to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Portuguese forward has missed Madrid’s last four games, including the Copa del Rey victory over Barcelona, due to a knee injury. He will be looking to play in a quest to not only take Madrid through to the final but also break the record for most goals scored in the Champions League in a single season (currently tied with Messi on 14 goals).

Real Madrid’s official website stated that both Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos completed the training session.

But there was some bad news as Bale did not train after suffering from the flu. There was no update on whether he would be available for the semi-final.

They should however both be fit for the return leg at the Allianz Arena next week.
