Cristiano Ronaldo has been known to be arrogant and cocky, but is he really?

A Real Madrid fan, 14-year old Dawid Pawlaczyk from Poland was involved in an accident last year after he was hit by a car, and as a result, he was in coma for three months.

Apparently, his parents knew about his love for the Spanish club, and so brought his favourite Real Madrid bed sheets to the hospital. More so, they even played the Real Madrid matches so that Dawid could listen to them through his headphones.

Surprisingly, Dawid opened his eyes last year on November 18th, right after Cristiano Ronaldo had scored. After making great progress, he was back home within a month.

According to Polish newspaper, Fakt, when contacted by the news agency, Cristiano Ronaldo reacted immediately, and invited Dawid and his family to the Sanitago Bernabeu to watch Real Madrid play Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final. He offered to take care of all the expenses, and made sure that Dawid was treated as a VIP.

Post-match, he met Dawid personally and expressed his happiness to meet the young boy. Ronaldo gave him his match-day shirt, which Dawid said he would put into a frame and hang it onto his wall. As a thank you gesture to Ronaldo, young Dawid gifted him a red and white Polish scarf.

What a gesture!
