As per the report, Liverpool have slapped a £28m price tag on the striker and two Premier League clubs, West Ham and Stoke are ready to meet Liverpool’s valuation and make a January bid for Sturridge who is expected to have a final say in his move away from Anfield.

Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has held talks with MLS side Chicago fire. The Guardian claims that Schweinsteiger met with MLS officials earlier this week and held a 4-hour discussion to join the club in January. While final details are yet to be struck, it is believed that the German midfielder is 100% certain to quit Old Trafford at the start of new year.

Harry Kane’s wage demands hold up contract talk

According to Daily Mirror, Harry Kane will demand at least £120,000-a-week to sign a new contract at Tottenham. We covered the story of the contract extension in last night’s transfer roundup but things have been pit on hold in the last 24 hours. As per the report, Kane’s camp are demanding almost £20k-per-week in excess to what Spurs are willing to offer for the English striker.
