Xabi Alonso linked with Chelsea

Xabi Alonso and Jose Mourinho may re-unite at Chelsea

English giants, Chelsea are in talks with Real Madrid over Spanish midfielder, Xabi Alonso. Xabi Alonso is currently serving last year of his contract with Madrid and is most unlikely to continue with the club anymore. Real Madrid also have started finding a apt replacement for the hard working midfielder. (Caught-offside)

Real Madrid are currently negotiating with Borussia Dortmund over German midfielder, Ilkay Gundogan. The midfielder is widely admired across Europe. Many clubs are already eyeing the midfielder which includes, Arsenal Manchester United. Madrid target him as a replacement of their outgoing midfielder, Xabi Alonso. (Metro)

Former Manchester United coach, Rene Meulensteen believes, Manchester United may sell Javier Hernandez (Chicharito) to rivals Arsenal in January. He said: “With Hernandez, having Robin van Persie in that position mean sometimes you will fall short. That’s why it’s so important that, at the right time, you mix up the combinations and that all these players feel like they contribute to the competitions that you play in. If Hernandez comes to an age where he thinks he wants regular football and he can get into another top team in the Premier League then I can see him considering it, but it’s not easy leaving Manchester United.” (Tribalfootball)

Arsenal eye Barcelona attacker, Pedro. Apparently they are in secret talks with the club over the move. The move may happen in January. Pedro faces immense competition in his position from Neymar, Alexis and Fabregas. He had hardly appeared this season in the Barcelona jersey so far and remains mostly out of favor by manager Gerardo Martino. (Caught-offside)

Borussia Dortmund to launch a official bid for Manchester City forward, Edin Dzeko in January transfer window. Dzeko had hardly appeared this season in Manchester City colours with Alvaro Negredo and Sergio Aguero performing consistently well. The 27-year-old is left with 18 months of his contract. The club has not offered any new contract, which makes his way easier to join the German club. (Caught-offside)
