Daily Transfer Updates - November 1st, 2013

Mario Balotelli signed for AC Milan from Manchester City in January 2013

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, despite the presence of an improving Fernando Torres, is on the look-out for a first class striker with his gamble on the 32-year-old Samuel Eto’o not paying off. Mario Balotelli has been linked with what could be a sensational move to Stamford Bridge. According to reports from Sky Sports, Adriano Galliani has dismissed the rumours saying,“ There is absolutely no problem with Balotelli. Mario will continue to be our star. He is not going anywhere. He is a fascinating individual with global appeal. He will stay with Milan because he is happy here and has a long contract with the club.”

Arsenal are monitoring the progress of the 18-year-old AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang. According to Forzaitalianfootball.com, the Gunners are prepared to place a €8 million for the youngster in the January Transfer window. The report also adds that Milan are willing to listen to offers that quote a right price for the talented player.

Ligue 1 club Monaco, known for their audacious moves which include the big money signings of Radamel Falcao and Joao Moutinho in the concluded summer transfer window, are believed to be lining up a €40million (£34m) bid for the Arsenal winger Theo Walcott. However, according to the Dailymail, Arsene Wenger will not entertain the ambitions of the French giants.
