England U-21s score a sensational 35-pass, 11-player winner that must have shocked the Germans

James Ward-Prowse with the third goal for Englan U21s as they defeated the young German side at Riverside Stadium

Riverside Stadium saw a majestic goal created by the eleven Young English Lions as they secured a memorable 3-2 win over the German U-21 side. James Ward-Prowse provided the finishing touches to what was a sweeping move from English side. However, it was the buildup of the goal – tiki-taka-esque – that took all the headlines as the home side celebrated a massive victory over their arch-rivals ahead of U-21 Euro this summer.

The English midfielders won the ball in the midfield before keeping the possession with some measured passing at the back. Carl Jenkinson then bombed forward on the right to set the tempo for his side who then created the final pass for Ward-Prowse to side-foot the ball past German keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
