England's Euro squad reportedly leaked; England Football's Twitter handle responds brilliantly

Roy Hodgson's squad is yet to be finalised

Twitter was all the talk last night as England Football Team's reported UEFA Euro 16 squad leaked online. Discussions began about some of the exclusions and inclusions on the list with the social media soon filled with opinions, hate and cats reacting to the news.

With the Euros fast approaching, national football associations have begun finalising their squads ahead for the prestigious competition. With the training of the Euro set to begin later this month, a host of nations have already announced a 30 / 40 man squad.

England, however, are yet to release their squad for the training schedule but it reportedly leaked ahead online like posted in the Tweet below.

While this image circulated across the net, plenty of users started debating whether this was the right squad to challenge the likes of Germany, Spain, France and Portugal. Users of the popular social media outlet were questioning the inclusion of the likes of Danny Drinkwater – who won the title with Leicester City this season, – Ross Barkley – who frankly didn't have the best of seasons – and Jordan Henderson – who again, hasn't had the best of seasons.

With all the ruckus about the reported ins and outs, England swiftly responded by quashing any sort of rumour and branding it 'fake'. Here's how they Tweeted:

One GIF, zero words and shut down the whole argument.

England, much like many other European teams, have yet to announce their squad with plenty of surprising inclusions expected. The likes of Danny Drinkwater, Andy Carroll and Mark Noble are expected to get call ups while the likes of Theo Walcott and Ross Barkley are set to be dropped.

That reply though. Well played, England Twitter team.
