Europa League: Turkish side Trabzonspor beat Metalist Kharkiv, advance to Round of 32

Ankara, Nov 28 Turkish club Trabzonspor defeated Ukraine's Metalist Kharkiv 3-1 to advance to the round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League.

Algerian defender Essaid Belkalem's header from a corner kick gave Trabzonspor the lead in 36th minute with an assist from Turkish mid-fielder Mehmet Ekici Thursday, reports Xinhua.

The visitors scored the equaliser when Volodymyr Homenyuk found the net in the 68th minute.

With three minutes to go, Trabzonspor mid-fielder Mehmet Ekici scored the second for his team. Turkish winger Sefa Yilmaz nodded the ball to Mehmet Ekici, who smashed from outside the box.

In the injury time, Kharkiv goalkeeper Olexandr Goryainov found his own net. Trabzonspor's Yusuf Erdogan's shot rattled the bar at first, then hit the goalkeeper and went in.
