FA Cup 2013-14: Third round draw - North London rivals to clash

The FA Cup draw for the third round, held on Sunday, drew up some intriguing fixtures.

The stand out match is surely the North London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates. The two rivals faced off in the Premier League earlier this season, with Arsenal triumphing by a solidarity goal from Olivier Giroud.

Manchester United have been drawn at home against Swansea City. David Moyes will be hoping his team’s home form improves by the time the Swans visit Old Trafford in the Cup.

Chelsea are away at Derby County, a club that have been quite impressive in the Championship this season under former England boss Steve McClaren.

Liverpool will face off against Oldham Athletic or Mansfield Town at Anfield. The Reds will be expected to win the tie without breaking much sweat.

The fixtures will take place on 4th-5th January 2014.
