Following a below average performance from the side in recent weeks, fans of Austrian club Rapid Vienna staged a protest at the club’s general offices and built a brick wall at the entrance to prevent management from going inside the building.

The group of Rapid Ultras built the wall over Sunday night and hung a photo of general manager Werner Kuhn upon it, with the message underneath reading: “I’m not allowed in.”

Vienna are third in the 10-team Austrian Bundesliga, 23 points behind league leaders Austria Wien and 17 behind second placed Red Bull Salzburg.

The fans had earlier staged a protest march around a fortnight ago against the club’s board of directors following a nine-match win-less run.

Earlier in the season, Rapid were knocked out of the Europa League in the group stages after winning 1 and losing 5 of their matches.
