Footballer scores most spectacular and unstoppable own goal

Ed Ran
Gajic reacts after firing a shot (clearance) into his own net.

Poor Milan Gajic. When St Gallen played Young Boys Bern, the Serbian footballer made a name for himself – in the wrong manner.

He just scored one of the greatest goals in the history of football – a first time shot while sprinting; a half-volley from outside the box that screamed past the goalkeeper and into the back of the net.

The only problem? He beat his own goalkeeper and scored in his own net, thereby making it one of the most spectacular own goals in history.

We do feel sorry for the lad, but this goal is just too priceless!
