Nepal National U16 team off to a flying start in the 34th All India Governor’s Gold cup being held at Sikkim, India. The cup is scheduled to be held from 7 Nov. to 21 Nov. 2013.
Nepal U16 team defeated Eastern Railways FC (India) 1 – 0 with the goal from Kiran Sunar in the 37th minute of the match. Nepal U16 will next face I-League second division outfit George Telegraph. The cup is ongoing at the Pajor Stadium in Sikkim, India.
16 teams including three from Nepal is participating in the championship. Nepal U16 team along with Three Star Club and Manang Marshyangdi Club is parting in the championship.
