Graziano Pelle: I'm better looking than Ronaldo, George Clooney should play me in a film

Graziano Pelle of Southampton celebrates as he scores their fifth goal during the Barclays Premier League match

Graziano Pelle has claimed that he is like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and that he is more handsome than Cristiano Ronaldo. The Southampton striker has been in top form this season and has already scored 9 goals in all competitions.

The £8m transfer fee paid by the Saints to bring him from Feyenoord to replace Rickie Lambert has looked like a good bargain buy this season.

I’m better looking than Ronaldo: Pelle

The Italian states his claims in a new book called ‘Pelle Talks, 1000 Questions and More’. The questions and answer book reveals that he is not quite the most modest of men.

When asked who among himself and Real Madrid star Ronaldo was more attractive, the striker answered: "Me. Cristiano is good looking but I am a little bit taller."

Pelle also felt Hollywood star George Clooney would be the actor who can reprise the role of him in a film.

On why Clooney was the perfect choice, he said: "George Clooney, because he is elegant."

And also when asked to compare a footballer who is similar to the him, the striker picked Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The St Mary’s favourite remarked: "I don't say I am as good as he is, but I do look like him."
