GSA Super Division: Assam Police Blues relegated

Former 3-time champion the Assam Police Blues have been relegated to the A division from the GSA Super division football league for the first time in their history. In the last match of their campaign they played out a goalless draw against Food Corporation of India SC (FCI SC).

Both teams played cautiously from the beginning. Throughout the first half of the match, the ball remained in mid-field.

In the second half FCI created some decent chances, but their strikers failed to convert them.

Assam Police Blues gathered only 7 points in total and got relegated to the A division.

All India Invitational Prize Money Football

Meanwhile, OIL India FC entered the semifinals of the All India Invitational Prize Money Football tournament, Golaghat. They defeated Morning Star, Diphu by a solitary goal. In the 11th minute of the match Jyotish Basumataruy scored the all important goal of the match. They will face Mohun Bagan Academy in the semifinal.

Today Dynamo FC will play Shillong Lajong FC in the first semifinal of the tournament.
